Return Policy

At Playwear, every piece is made to play hard and last long — but we also want you to love what you ordered. Because each item is crafted from upcycled, remade materials, small imperfections are part of the story, not a flaw. That said, if something doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll make it right.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for most items.
To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

  • All original packaging and tags must be included.

  • A proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

  • Custom or personalized items and sale items are final sale and not eligible for return.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at contact@playwear.ca or use the chat feature on our site.

  2. Provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and (if applicable) a photo.

  3. We’ll guide you through the best return or replacement plan.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a Playwear error (wrong item shipped or product defect).

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return safely reaches us.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

  • Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.

  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear.


Exchanges

We’re happy to replace defective or damaged items with the same product.
If you’d like to swap for a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement.


Non-Returnable Items

Please note that we cannot accept returns on:

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance items
